Nie wyrzucajcie gorących popiołów do śmieci – apeluje straż miejska
To prosta droga do tragedii – ostrzegają strażnicy miejscy w Wejherowie. Apelują do mieszkańców, by nie wyrzucali do komunalnych koszy na śmieci gorących popiołów z kotłowni i kominków.
Jak się okazuje – Wejherowianie robią tak nagminnie, a skutkiem są pożary kontenerów na odpady. Od początku października zanotowano już dwa takie przypadki – informuje komendant wejherowskiej straży miejskiej, Zenon Hinca. W jednym przypadku strażnicy zauważyli pożar śmietnika na tyle wcześnie, że zdołali sami go ugasić. W drugim konieczne już było wezwanie straży pożarnej, a ogień zagrażał pobliskim zabudowaniom. W ubiegłym roku w sezonie grzewczym spłonęło z tego powodu kilkanaście pojemników na śmieci – w kilku przypadkach pożar rozprzestrzenił się też zabudowania mieszkalne.
