W gminie Somonino nie będzie Funduszu Sołeckiego. Jego wprowadzeniu sprzeciwili się radni, bo ich zdaniem pieniądze byłyby rozdzielane niewspółmiernie do potrzeb. Zyskałyby miejscowości duże, jak Somonino i Goręczyno, a straciły mniejsze wioski.
– O podziale środków decydowałaby liczba mieszkańców sołectwa – wyjaśnia sołtys Goręczyna i zarazem gminny radny Krzysztof Stencel.
Do dyspozycji miało być niespełna 700 tysięcy złotych. 115 tysięcy trafiłoby do Somonina, najmniejsza wioska mogłaby liczyć na nieco ponad 10 tysięcy złotych. Część wydanych na Fundusz Sołecki pieniędzy wraca w postaci refundacji od państwa. Somonino mogło być trzecią w powiecie kartuskim gminą z takim rozwiązaniem, jednak radni sprzeciwili się jednogłośnie. Fundusz działa już w gminie Żukowo i Chmielno.
