Nie będzie drastycznych podwyżek cen wody i ścieków
Nie będzie w Kościerzynie drastycznych podwyżek cen wody i ścieków. Trudną sytuację spółki Kos-Eko ratują władze miasta. Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Infrastruktury zostanie zwolnione z podatku od budowli, co da mu rocznie około 700 tysięcy złotych oszczędności.
– Teraz trzeba go spłacić i nie możemy zrobić tego kosztem mieszkańców – mówi burmistrz Michał Majewski.
Zadłużenie, odpowiadającej za wodę, ścieki i ciepło spółki Kos-Eko niedługo osiągnie 13,5 mln złotych. Na jej trudną sytuację wpłynęło między innymi zaciągnięcie kredytu na zakup od miasta infrastruktury wodno-kanalizacyjnej za ponad 5 mln zł. Decyzję o zwolnieniu spółki z podatku od budowli podjęli radni podczas piątkowej sesji. Ze wstępnych zapowiedzi – ceny wody i ścieków w Kościerzynie mają w tym roku wzrosnąć o około 2-3%. Radni zajmą się tym na sesji majowej.
