Nauczyciele świętują i… protestują
Dziś Dzień Edukacji Narodowej, czyli tzw. Dzień Nauczyciela. Już wczoraj odbyły się uroczyste akademie. Tak było między innymi w Nowej Karczmie.
Dyrektor Zespołu Szkół w Nowej Karczmie, Dariusz Męczykowski przypominał, że to święto wszystkich pracowników szkoły, a nie tylko nauczycieli. podkreślał, że szkoła ma do spełnienia ważną rolę w lokalnej społeczności. W Nowej Karczmie, tak jak i we wszystkich szkołach, nie zabrakło podziękowań, życzeń oraz symbolicznych prezentów. Dzień Edukacji Narodowe jest dniem wolnym od zajęć, ale nie od pracy.
Dzieci zostały w domach lub spędzają czas w szkolnych świetlicach, zaś nauczyciele… protestują przed Kancelarią Prezesa Rady Ministrów. Na godzinę 13 zapowiedziano demonstrację dwóch nauczycielskich związków zawodowych – Związku Nauczycielstwa Polskiego oraz Krajowej Sekcji Oświaty i Wychowania NSZZ „Solidarność”.
Wspólne postulaty środowiska oświatowego to:
• zwiększenie nakładów na edukację
• podniesienie płac
• przeciwdziałanie prywatyzacji edukacji
• zahamowanie procesu łamania prawa przez niektóre samorządy prowadzące szkoły
Na nauczycielski protest do Warszawy wyjechały autokary z Lęborka, Chojnic, Gdyni i z Gdańska.
