Nagrody naukowe im. profesora Gerarda Labudy rozdane
Laureatami zostali młodzi naukowcy: profesor Lechosław Jocz z Gorzowa Wielkopolskiego i dr Piotr Kitowski z Gdańska.
Fundusz naukowy ustanowiono w 2010 roku, po śmierci profesora Labudy. Na ten cel jego rodzina przeznaczyła 300 tysięcy złotych. Dzięki temu, co 3 lata młodzi wybitni naukowcy mogą się ubiegać o nagrodę w wysokości 25 tysięcy złotych. W tym roku jednym z laureatów został pochodzący z Gorzowa profesor Lechosław Jocz. Jest slawistą i wykładowcą Akademii Gorzowskiej. Przez długie lata badał język łużycki w Niemczech, a teraz nauczył się kaszubskiego, by badać nasz język. Profesor Jocz otrzymał nagrodę za pracę naukową dotyczącą systemu samogłoskowego i spółgłoskowego w centralnych gwarach kaszubskich. Drugi z laureatów – dr Piotr Kitowski jest historykiem z Uniwersytetu Gdańskiego, który bada dzieje prawa na Pomorzu. Obaj laureaci otrzymali nagrody w wysokości 12,5 tysiąca złotych.
