Kartuscy policjanci i strażnicy miejscy przesiądą się na rowery. Na razie tylko czterech funkcjonariuszy, bowiem tyle jednośladów zakupił Urząd Gminy. Rowery oficjalnie przekazano wczoraj na kartuskim rynku podczas święta policji.
– Funkcjonariusz na rowerze takiego problemu mieć nie będzie – wyjaśnia burmistrz Grzegorz Gołuński.
O potrzebie zakupu rowerów już wcześniej mówił burmistrz Grzegorz Gołuński. W Kartuzach przybywa ścieżek rowerowych i miejsc gdzie trudno dojechać samochodem, np. na promenadę. Urząd gminy zakupił po dwa rowery dla policji i straży miejskiej. Koszt jednego to około 2 tysiące złotych. Do rowerów zakupiono także pełne umundurowanie. (Foto: www.kartuzy.pl)
