Na historie warte zachodu i… wschodu czeka Muzeum Emigracji w Gdyni. Archiwum internetowe otwarto dla wszystkich chętnych, by podzielić się opowieścią z emigracji swojej lub swoich bliskich. Archiwum Emigranta to przedsięwzięcie długofalowe i wieloetapowe. W fazie pilotażowej sfilmowano kilkadziesiąt wywiadów na trzech kontynentach. Rejestrowane są też wywiady audio bądź filmowe z wybitnymi postaciami polskiej nauki, kultury, sportu bądź biznesu, w których życiorys wpisane były doświadczenia emigracyjne. – Teraz każdy może podzielić się historią swoją lub swoich bliskich – opowiedzieć dokąd wyjechaliśmy, dlaczego zdecydowaliśmy się na taki krok, jak wyglądała aklimatyzacja w obcym środowisku, szukanie miejsca do życia, nowej pracy i przyjaciół? – wyjaśnia rzecznik Muzeum Emigracji w Gdyni Joanna Wojdyło. Historie będą stopniowo prezentowane na stronie placówki. Pierwsze relacje już się pojawiły. Formularz, dzięki któremu można dodać swój wpis do Archiwum Emigranta, zamieszczono na stronie internetowej Muzeum Emigracji w Gdyni.
