W gminie Kościerzyna dziś spotkanie organizacyjne dla zainteresowanych działaniem w Zespole do spraw Seniorów. W jego skład wejdzie 15-u mieszkańców gminy którzy ukończyli 55 lat, z czego trzech wskaże wójt.
Pozostała 12 rekrutować się będzie z osób zgłoszonych przez przedstawicieli organizacji pozarządowych działających na rzecz środowiska osób starszych. Zespół do spraw seniorów ma współpracować z władzami Gminy Kościerzyna przy opiniowaniu i rozstrzyganiu istotnych problemów dotyczących potrzeb i oczekiwań osób w wieku senioralnym. Ma też m.in. inicjować przedsięwzięcia zmierzające do integracji społecznej seniorów, wzmacniania ich aktywności obywatelskiej oraz służących ochronie praw i poszanowaniu godności osób starszych. Członkowie zespołu będą pełnić swoje funkcje społecznie, nie pobierając diet ani wynagrodzenia. Spotkanie dla chcących zaangażować się w tę działalności odbędzie się dziś w o 15:30 w sali posiedzeń Urzędu Gminy Kościerzyna.
