Most w Zaworach w gminie Chmielno przejezdny! Na razie tylko dla pobliskich mieszkańców, ale za dwa tygodnie całkowicie mają zniknąć uciążliwe objazdy.
– Warto jednak było czekać – ocenia dyrektor Zarządu Dróg Powiatowych w Kartuzach Andrzej Puzdrowski – bo oprócz nowego, szerszego mostu powstała ścieżka rowerowa, miejsce rekreacyjne i slip do wodowania sprzętu wodnego.
Rozpoczęte w maju ubiegłego roku prace miały potrwać pół roku – na przeszkodzie stanęła jednak niesprzyjająca pogoda. Nowy most w Zaworach jest wyższy od poprzedniego – co udrożniło szlak wodny dla kajaków, łódek i żaglówek między jeziorami Kłodno i Brodno. Wartość całej inwestycji to niecałe 3 mln złotych, z czego milion to pozyskana unijna dotacja, resztę sfinansowały wspólnie gmina Chmielno i powiat kartuski.
