Morską Pielgrzymką rybacy świętowali odpust Piotra i Pawła
Spotkali się na Zatoce Puckiej by się wspólnie modlić i prosić o opiekę. Niemal 30 kutrów wzięło udział w Morskiej Pielgrzymce Rybaków na odpust świętych Piotra i Pawła.
– Dla turystów to oryginalna atrakcja, dla nas – bardzo ważna część kulturowego dziedzictwa – mówi przewodniczący rady powiatu Adam Zażembłowski.
Na odświętnie przystrojonych jednostkach przypłynęli rybacy z Półwyspu Helskiego, a także z innych miejscowości, m.in. Władysławowa i Pucka. Po tradycyjnym spotkaniu na środku Zatoki wierni udali się na mszę w intencji ludzi morza, sprawowaną przy puckiej farze przez metropolitę gdańskiego arcybiskupa Sławoja Leszka Głódzia.
To jedyna pielgrzymka w Polsce odbywana drogą morską. Pierwsze wzmianki o niej pochodzą z 13 wieku, po wojnie reaktywowano tę tradycję w 1981 roku.
