Modernizacja linii kolejowej z Bytowa do Lipusza coraz bliżej
Bytów przestanie być najbardziej wykluczonym komunikacyjnie powiatem na Pomorzu – zapowiada marszałek województwa Mieczysław Struk. Samorząd przeznaczył unijne środki na przygotowanie dokumentacji rewitalizacji linii kolejowej z Bytowa do Lipusza.
To pozwoli na uruchomienie regularnych połączeń do Trójmiasta. Obecnie 23-kilometrowy odcinek do Lipusza jest jednym z najbardziej zdegradowanych na Pomorzu. Korzystające z niego pociągi towarowe mogą się poruszać z prędkością jedynie 20 km/h.
– Modernizacja linii z Bytowa do Lipusza jest niezbędna – mówi marszałek Mieczysław Struk.
Samorząd województwa wesprze przygotowanie dokumentacji technicznej sześciu projektów kolejowych na Pomorzu. Oprócz linii Bytów-Lipusz, będą to również Kartuzy-Sierakowice i Lipusz – Kościerzyna. Łącznie na ten cel przeznaczono 13 mln zł.
