Prace modernizacyjne lęborskiej sieci ciepłowniczej ruszą jeszcze w tym roku. Potrwają przez najbliższe cztery lata, mają kosztować prawie 9 i pół mln złotych.
– Miasto co roku dofinansowuje też wymianę indywidualnych pieców węglowych – mówi Alicja Zajączkowska z Urzędu Miasta.
Przebudowana zostanie sieć ciepłownicza, zamontowanych zostanie 50 nowoczesnych węzłów ciepłowniczych. To kontynuacja szeroko zakrojonych prac. W ubiegłym roku do użytku oddano nowoczesną elektrociepłownię opalaną biomasą za 42 mln zł. Wcześniej przeprowadzono termomodernizację w szkołach, przedszkolach i budynkach użyteczności publicznej. Końcowym efektem modernizacji w Lęborku będzie obniżenie strat ciepła na przesyle w stosunku do całej sieci o ponad 21 procent oraz ograniczenie emisji szkodliwych substancji dla środowiska. To z kolei przyniesie oszczędności w kasie samorządu.
