Mobilne Centrum Monitoringu będzie jeździć po Sopocie
Sumą prawie 300 tys zł miasto Sopot wesprze policję. To pieniądze głównie na zakup Mobilnego Centrum Monitoringu.
Podpisano już porozumienie w tej sprawie. Miejski samorząd przekaże 45 tysięcy złotych na zakup dwóch radiowozów. Ćwierć miliona złotych natomiast ma wesprzeć zakup Mobilnego Centrum Monitoringu, potocznie nazywanego mobilnym komisariatem. To pojazd wyposażony w najnowszy sprzęt z zakresu obserwacji, łączności i bieżącego przetwarzania informacji. Ruchomy komisariat jest przystosowany do obsłużenia interesanta i przeprowadzenia interwencji. Jako Centrum Monitoringu jest przydatny szczególnie podczas imprez masowych i zgromadzeń publicznych. Ma też być swoistym centrum dowodzenia.
Mobilne Centrum Monitoringu w Sopocie poruszać się będzie przede wszystkim w rejonie pasa nadmorskiego, Placu Przyjaciół Sopotu oraz lokali rozrywkowych, których w kurorcie nie brakuje. Ma przyczynić się do poprawy skuteczności służb i podnieść bezpieczeństwo mieszkańców Sopotu i turystów odwiedzających miasto.
