Młodzi piłkarze z Kościerzyny bezkonkurencyjni w półfinale LOTOS Junior Cap w Stężycy. Gospodarze z Raduni zajęli trzecie miejsce. LOTOS Junior Cup to turniej organizowany przez grupę LOTOS przy wsparciu Akademii Piłkarskiej Lechii Gdańsk – która szkoli młode piłkarskie gwiazdy w Gdańsku i ośrodkach zamiejscowych, m.in. w Kościerzynie, Bytowie, Kartuzach, Luzinie, Krokowej i Stężycy. Półfinały to kolejna – po szczeblu gminnym – faza rozgrywek, mająca wyłonić drużyny które zagrają na stadionie Lechii pod koniec czerwca. W Stężycy rozegrany został trzeci turniej półfinałowy. Najtrudniejszy był ostatni pojedynek z kościerską podstawówką nr 4 – ocenia bramkarz zwycięskiej drużyny z SP 6 w Kościerzynie. Występ ocenia też Raduni koordynator zamiejscowego ośrodka Akademii Piłkarskiej Lechia Gdańsk w Stężycy, Ireneusz Stencel. Radunia Stężyca od ośmiu miesięcy należy do projektu „Biało-zielona przyszłość z LOTOSEM”. Przez ten czas podwoiła się tam liczba grup młodzieżowych – z trzech do sześciu, trenują też o połowę młodsze dzieci niż dotychczas – szkolenie rozpoczynają od 5 roku życia.
