Mija setna rocznica urodzin ks. Antoniego Peplińskiego
W Muzeum Zachodniokaszubskim w Bytowie rozpoczęto obchody setnej rocznicy urodzin ks. Antoniego Peplińskiego – poety i autora wielu znanych kaszubskich pieśni. Kolejne uroczystości jeszcze w tym tygodniu odbędą się w Mściszewicach i gminie Krokowa.
– Chcemy wciąż przypominać o tej wielkiej postaci – mówi współautor książki Jaromir Szroeder z Muzeum Zachodniokaszubskiego w Bytowie.
Na inaugurację w bytowskim muzeum odbyła się konferencja poświęcona poezji ks. Peplińskiego. Zaprezentowano też wystawę i książkę „Żeby wracał ten czas” prezentującą dorobek literacki i muzyczny kaszubskiego barda. Wraz z książką wydano płytę z archiwalnymi wykonaniami utworów przez księdza Peplińskiego oraz drugą płytę prezentującą szesnaście różnych wykonań jego najbardziej znanej pieśnie „Kaszëbsczé jezora”. Ich wyboru dokonał Tomasz Fopke. Pieśń „Kaszëbsczé jezora” powstała 51 lat temu w Kłącznie koło Bytowa. Z okazji urodzin jej autora dzisiaj w Mściszewicach o 16:00 odprawiona zostanie msza święta w jego intencji. W niedzielę na wieczornicę poświęconą księdzu Peplińskiemu do szkoły w Żarnowcu zaprasza krokowski oddział Zrzeszenia Kaszubsko-Pomorskiego.
