4. rocznica śmierci profesora Gerarda Labudy

– Luzino jest dumne, że z nami związał się profesor Labuda – mówi dyrektor miejscowej biblioteki Maria Kraśnicka.
Uczczą pamięć jednego z największych i najbardziej znanych Kaszubów. W Luzinie zostanie dzisiaj odsłonięta tablica pamiątkowa w 4. rocznicę śmierci profesora Gerarda Labudy. Pochodzący z Kaszub profesor karierę naukową zyskał w Poznaniu. Był jednym z najbardziej znanych historyków zajmujących się średniowieczem. Był rektorem Uniwersytetu Adama Mickiewicza, prezesem Polskiej Akademii Nauk i działaczem wielu organizacji naukowych. Za swoją działalność wielokrotnie nagradzany, honorowy obywatel Poznania, Gdańska, Gniezna i Luzina w powiecie wejherowskim – gdzie pobierał naukę w szkole podstawowej. Dzisiaj ten fakt uczczą mieszkańcy wsi, odsłaniając tablicę pamiątkową na budynku szkoły. Odsłonięcie pamiątkowej tablicy na starej szkole w Luzinie odbędzie się dzisiaj o godzinie 14:00
