Mieszkańcy Rumi mają głos – w sprawie wydania półtora miliona złotych. Od dziś mogą zgłaszać inwestycje, które ich zdaniem są warte wykonania z miejskich pieniędzy. Potem będą głosować na najlepsze z nich. W konsultacjach społecznych do pilotażowego projektu budżetu obywatelskiego może wziąć udział każdy na stałe zameldowany w Rumi – pod warunkiem że do dzisiaj ukończył 16 lat. Trzeba też zebrać 15 podpisów mieszkańców Rumi pod propozycją. Wartość zgłaszanych projektów nie może być wyższa nić pół miliona złotych. Formularze i zasady ich zgłaszania opublikowano na stronie internetowej Urzędu Miasta, na propozycje będą tam czekać do końca września. Lista projektów inwestycyjnych zostanie opublikowana 21 listopada – wnioski przejdą wcześniej ocenę komisji do spraw budżetu obywatelskiego. Ostatecznie na co wydać półtora miliona złotych – zdecydują mieszkańcy Rumi w elektronicznym głosowaniu, które obędzie się na przełomie listopada i grudnia.
