Medale Stolema po raz 51 wręczy dziś Klub Studencki „Pomorania”
Tym razem laureatami będą: prof. Maria Pająkowska-Kensik i Władysław Czarnowski.
To prestiżowe wyróżnienie przyznawane jest osobom, instytucjom i organizacjom, które przyczyniły się do pomnożenia lub popularyzacji dorobku i osiągnięć kultury Kaszub oraz Pomorza. Medale Stolema otrzymali dotąd m.in. Jan Drzeżdżon, Edward Breza, ks. Marian Miotk, Witosława Frankowska czy zespół „Bazuny” z Żukowa. Do tego grona dziś dołączy Maria Pająkowska-Kensik – profesor Uniwersytetu w Bydgoszczy, językoznawca i ekspert w zakresie dziedzictwa kulturowego Kociewia. Uhonorowany zostanie także Władysław Czarnowski – najbardziej znany z tego, że powołał do życia Międzynarodowy Festiwal Folkloru w Brusach i Stowarzyszenie Kaszubski Zespół Folklorystyczny „Krëbane”.
Gala wręczenia Medali Stolema odbędzie się dzisiaj o 18:00 w Ratuszu Staromiejskim w Gdańsku.
