Mamy przedstawicieli z Pomorza w Brukseli
Jarosław Wałęsa, Janusz Lewandowski i Anna Fotyga – to europarlamentarzyści jacy reprezentować będą Pomorze w Brukseli. Późnym wieczorem poznaliśmy oficjalne wyniki wyborów. W kraju wygrała Platforma Obywatelska uzyskując 32 procent poparcia. Prawo i Sprawiedliwość ma go o punkt procentowy mniej. Prawie do końca nie wiadomo było czy Pomorzu przypadną dwa, czy trzy mandaty, a to za sprawą skomplikowanej ordynacji wyborczej. Jarosław Wałęsa będzie europosłem już drugą kadencję, zasiadając między innymi w Komisji do Spraw Rybołówstwa. Największe poparcie zdobył u nas Janusz Lewandowski, który mówi o przyszłości unijnej polityki. Janusz Lewandowski w poprzedniej kadencji europarlamentu był unijnym komisarzem do spraw finansów. Kiedy europoseł wybierany jest na to wysokie stanowisko zwalnia poselski mandat. Lewandowski ponownie będzie kandydować na komisarza, więc w jego miejsce jako europosłanka może wejść Henryka Krzywonos – Strycharska – uzyskała trzeci wynik wyborczy. Do Komisji Europejskiej nie dostanie się na pewno Anna Fotyga z Prawa i Sprawiedliwości. Była szefowa MSZ i kancelarii prezydenta Lecha Kaczyńskiego zasiądzie we frakcji Europejskich Konserwatystów i Reformatorów. To piąta siła w parlamencie europejskim, skupiająca głównie eurosceptyków. Niezależnie od poglądów – komentuje socjolog z Uniwersytetu Gdańskiego, Mateusz Schmidt – Kaszubi powinni patrzeć na ręce tym, których wybrali. Frekwencja na Pomorzu wyniosła 25 %, o dwa punkty więcej niż w kraju.
