Maleje zadłużenie powiatu kościerskiego. W tym roku starostwu udało się je obniżyć o ponad 3 mln złotych. A jeszcze w listopadzie powiat chce ze sprzedaży majątku zarobić 1 mln 700 tysięcy złotych.
– Władze powiatu mają nadzieję pozyskać kolejne środki, tym razem ze sprzedaży wysokiej i niskiej części internatu przy Powiatowym Zespole Szkół nr 3 w Kościerzynie – mówi starosta Alicja Żurawska.
Do niedawna powiat kościerski zaliczany był do jednych z najbardziej zadłużonych w kraju, jednak od dwóch lat regularnie udaje się spłacać długi. W ubiegłym roku zadłużenie zmniejszono o 2 i pół mln złotych, w tym roku już o 3 mln 300 tysięcy. W uzyskaniu pieniędzy na ten cel pomogła m.in. udana sprzedaż dwóch działek w miejscowości Piechowice. Transakcję zrealizowano w sierpniu.
Zgodnie z realizowanym od ubiegłego roku Planem Naprawczym Finansów Powiatu samorząd pieniądze ze sprzedaży nieruchomości może przeznaczyć jedynie na spłatę zadłużenia. Przetarg na sprzedaż budynków internatu odbędzie się 28 listopada.
