Maja i Alex – to para bielików z wejherowskiego parku
Para bielików z wejherowskiego parku będzie nosić imiona: Maja i Alex. Wybrali je Wejherowianie w internetowym głosowaniu spośród zgłoszonych wcześniej propozycji.
Nowe imiona bielików nawiązują do patrona parku miejskiego – Aleksandra Majkowskiego. Maja i Alex ze względu na trwałe okaleczenia doznane na wolności nie są w stanie samodzielnie przetrwać w warunkach naturalnych. Niedawne przenosiny do woliery w Wejherowie z ośrodków rehabilitacji w Wielkopolsce i Warmii to dla obu bielików szansa na rozpoczęcie nowego życia w komfortowych warunkach.
