Ma się poprawić dojazd do plaży w Babich Dołach
Jeszcze przed wakacjami ma się poprawić dojazd do plaży w Babich Dołach. Gdyński Zarząd Dróg i Zieleni ogłosił właśnie przetarg dotyczący poprawy jej dostępności.
Pod tym pojęciem kryje się remont jezdni, chodników i oświetlenia oraz przygotowanie miejsc postojowych dla samochodów osobowych. Powstanie też przystanek autobusowy tuż przy plaży – poinformował serwis prasowy Urzędu Miasta Gdyni. Wyznaczone zostaną też: przestrzeń dla małej gastronomii oraz strefa sanitarna. Nowa droga na plażę w Babich Dołach powstanie na przedłużeniu ulicy Zielonej, na terenie udostępnionym przez Agencję Mienia Wojskowego. Jej otwarcie zaplanowano przed rozpoczęciem tegorocznych wakacji. Koszt inwestycji – około dwóch milionów złotych – pokryje budżet Gdyni. Rewitalizację nadmorskiej części Babich Dołów miasto Gdynia prowadzi w partnerstwie z gminą Kosakowo, która pracuje nad uatrakcyjnieniem sąsiednich Mechelinek i terenów aż po Rewski Szperk.
