Lębork weźmie udział w programie „Posiłek w szkole i domu”
Lębork weźmie udział w rządowym programie „Posiłek w szkole i domu” – zdecydowali miejscy radni na trzeciej sesji tej kadencji. Roczna dotacja przekazywana przez pomorskiego wojewodę może wynieść nawet 927 tys zł.
W takim przypadku wkład miasta wyniesie około 195 tys zł. Program na lata 2019 – 23 dotyczy dzieci z rodzin znajdujących się w trudnej sytuacji finansowej. Ma im zapewnić m.in. ciepłe posiłki w szkole i przedszkolu lub inną pomoc żywnościową. Wsparcie mogą otrzymać także dorośli – osoby starsze, niepełnosprawne czy o niskich dochodach – w postaci posiłku, świadczenia rzeczowego czy zasiłku celowego. Projekt koordynuje Miejski Ośrodek Pomocy Społecznej w Lęborku. Kryterium dochodowe to 1 tys 051 zł i 50 gr dla osoby samotnie gospodarującej lub 792 zł dla osoby w rodzinie. „Posiłek w szkole i domu” jest kontynuacją rządowego programu „Pomoc państwa w zakresie dożywiania”. Jak informują w Lęborku, w ubiegłym roku z bezpłatnych posiłków skorzystało 343 dzieci.
Dodatkowo w programie osłonowym bez przeprowadzenia wywiadu środowiskowego wsparcie otrzymało 57 dzieci. Zasiłkami celowymi na zakup żywności objęto 640 rodzin, a posiłki otrzymało 96 osób.
