ŁEBIEŃ: Z odwiertu płynie gaz łupkowy
Z odwiertu w Łebieniu w Nowej Wsi Lęborskiej płynie gaz łupkowy. Jest wydobywany już od ponad miesiąca, to sukces przybliżający Polskę do przemysłowego wydobycia tego surowca – pisze Rzeczpospolita.
Z informacji podawanych przez gazetę wynika, że z odwiertu, który wykonała firma Lane Energy Poland, wydobywa się ok. 8 tysięcy metrów sześciennych gazu na dobę. Nie jest to jeszcze ilość kwalifikowana jako produkcja komercyjna, ale dotychczas w żadnym kraju europejskim nie udało się osiągnąć podobnego rezultatu. Wydajność odwiertu jest niższa niż na polach gazowych w USA i Kanadzie, natomiast jest to pierwszy tak dobry rezultat w historii rozpoznawania łupkowych złóż w Europie – powiedział „Rzeczpospolitej” Piotr Woźniak, wiceminister środowiska i główny geolog kraju. Test produkcyjny na odwiercie w Łebieniu prowadzony jest od 21 lipca, ma się zakończyć po dwóch miesiącach prób.
