KOŚCIERZYNA. Na domach pojawią się solary
Będzie czystsze powietrze w Kościerzynie. Na 125 domach – głównie w centrum miasta – pojawią się instalacje solarne. Miasto rozdysponowało wśród mieszkańców na ten cel 1,5 mln złotych. Przypomnijmy, że Kościerzyna jest jednym z najbardziej zanieczyszczonych miast Pomorza. Według ostatnich badań Wojewódzkiego Inspektoratu Ochrony Środowiska normy rakotwórczego benzoalfapirenu są tu przekroczone kilkakrotnie. Najgorzej jest w centrum miasta. Powodem zanieczyszczeń są: emisja dymów z pieców węglowych, brak obwodnicy i specyficzne położenie miasta. Samorząd Kościerzyny od kilku lat realizuje program naprawczy ochrony powietrza. Rozbudowywana jest sukcesywnie sieć ciepłownicza i gazowa. Do tego – po 3 latach starań – udało się pozyskać 1,5 mln złotych na pilotażowy projekt solarny. Baterie solarne pozwalają dzięki energii słonecznej ogrzewać ciepłą wodę za darmo. To ograniczy ilość dymów głównie w rejonie starego miasta – mówi burmistrz Kościerzyny Zdzisław Czucha. Mieszkańcy otrzymali 75 -procentowe dofinansowanie do zakupu solarów. Wykonawca już rozpoczął instalację baterii słonecznych na dachach budynków. Podobne projekty na Kaszubach realizowały już samorządy Bytowa, Luzina, Sierakowic i Dziemian.
