Kościerscy uczniowie biorą udział w programie „Badacze Wody”
Organizują debaty i happeningi promujące oszczędzanie wody. Uczniowie z gimnazjum nr 1 w Kościerzynie biorą udział w światowym programie edukacyjnym „Badacze Wody”.
– Chcemy nauczyć mieszkańców Kościerzyny jak oszczędzać każdą kroplę – mówi uczestnik projektu Tomasz Kaliński.
Dzięki niemu mają okazję współpracy z młodzieżą z jedenastu krajów, która również angażuje się w badanie zbiorników wodnych i pomoc w oszczędzaniu wody. Kościerscy uczniowie przypominają, że statystyczny mieszkaniec Pomorza zużywa codziennie 150 litrów wody, z czego tylko 1-2 litry wypija, a resztę wylewa do kanalizacji. Uczniowie będą też badać jakość wody w jeziorze Gałęźnym w Kościerzynie. W programie na całym świecie uczestniczy prawie 1800 drużyn. Najlepsze z nich spotkają się jesienią tego roku w Londynie podczas oficjalnego podsumowania projektu.
