Koronacja obrazu Matki Bożej Pocieszania we Wielu
Prymas Polski, arcybiskupi i biskupi z wielu diecezji oraz blisko 30 tysięcy wiernych wezmą udział w niedzielę w koronacji Obrazu Matki Bożej Pocieszenia we Wielu. Uroczystości odbędą się tradycyjnie na górach Kalwarii Wielewskiej.
– Podczas nabożeństwa nie zabraknie również wielu elementów kaszubskich – podkreśla kustosz wielewskiego sanktuarium ks. Jan Flisikowski.
Łaskami słynący, barkowy obraz Matki Bożej Pocieszenia pochodzi z 18. wieku. Do Wiela przeniesiono go z Chojnic w 1852 roku. Po 165 latach korony dla Matki Bożej poświęcił podczas pobytu w Polsce papież Franciszek. Ich fundatorami są członkowie rodziny Szalewskich, którzy aktywnie wezmą udział w niedzielnych uroczystościach. Uroczystej koronacji obrazu dokona Prymas Polski ks. Wojciech Polak. Uroczysta msza święta rozpocznie się na Kalwarii Wielewskiej w niedzielę o godzinie 10:00. Parkingi dla wiernych, którzy przybędą do Wiela, zostaną zlokalizowane na obrzeżach wsi. Organizatorzy przygotowali dwa busy, które będą dowoziły uczestników do miejsca uroczystości.
