W Gdyni powstanie Konsulat Kultury. Do wyremontowanego dawnego Domu Marynarza Szwedzkiego ma się wprowadzić Centrum Kultury. Na modernizację nowej siedziby miasto pozyskało ponad 4 mln złotych.
To 60 procent kosztu adaptacji zabytkowego budynku do nowej funkcji. Kapitalny remont ma potrwać do połowy 2018 roku. Po przeprowadzce znacznie poprawią się warunki działania centrum kultury znanego szczególnie z projektów teatralnych – profesjonalnych i amatorskich.
