Konsulat Kultury nową siedzibą Gdyńskiego Centrum Kultury
Pierwszą premierą teatralną w nowym gmachu – w Gdyni w piątek rozpoczną się trzydniowe uroczystości na otwarcie Konsulatu Kultury
– Mamy tu przestrzeń na spektakle, koncerty i warsztaty – mówi dyrektor Jarosław Wojciechowski.
Centrum Kultury w Gdyni po 14-u latach działania zmienia nazwę i siedzibę. Z Małego Kacka przeprowadza się do centrum miasta do Konsulatu Kultury. Oficjalne otwarcie rozpocznie się w piątek i potrwa do niedzieli. Na potrzeby Gdyńskiego Centrum Kultury zaadaptowano dawny Dom Marynarza Szwedzkiego przy ulicy Jana z Kolna. Modernizacja kosztowała 10 mln zł, z czego jedną trzecią pokryła unijna dotacja. W Konsulacie Kultury mieścić się też będzie Wydział Kultury Urzędu Miasta – mówi Maja Wagner, pełnomocnik prezydenta Gdyni do spraw kultury. Trzydniowe uroczystości w piątek rozpocznie o 11:00 debata „ O wolności…” z udziałem profesorów Normana Daviesa, Szewacha Weissa i ks. prof. Michała Hellera połączona z koncertem Marcina Wyrostka. Wystawiona zostanie też „Konsternacja” – pierwsza premiera teatralna w nowym gmachu.
