Koniec remontów na Iwaszkiewicza w Wejherowie
Ma poprawić komfort życia mieszkańców, jest też ważnym elementem największych przyszłorocznych inwestycji – ulica Iwaszkiewicza w Wejherowie została oddana do użytku. Wczoraj władze miasta dokonały jej oficjalnego odbioru.
– Wiosną i jesienią ta ulica zamieniała się w bagno, latem było jeszcze gorzej – mówi inicjator inwestycji, wejherowski radny Bartłomiej Czyżewski.
Prace prowadzono w trzech etapach, pierwotnie modernizowany odcinek miał być znacznie krótszy. Ostatecznie wyremontowano ponad 400 m drogi. Jezdnię utwardzono płytami YOMB, powstało również kilka zatok parkingowych. Nietypowym bonusem jest położenie chodników na poboczach, czego przy tego typu nawierzchni się nie stosuje. – Rozszerzenie prac w stosunku do pierwotnej koncepcji wynika z faktu, że ulica Iwaszkiewicza wpisuje się w nasze flagowe inwestycje na przyszły rok – wyjaśnia prezydent Wejherowa, KrzysztofHildebrandt. Modernizacja 3,5 tysiąca metrów kwadratowych ulicy Iwaszkiewicza kosztowało miejski budżet 250 tysięcy złotych.
