Konferencja „Modernizm w Europie – modernizm w Gdyni”
W Gdyni odbędzie się w czwartek 6. międzynarodowa konferencja naukowa poświęcona modernizmowi w tym mieście i w Europie. Wstęp jest bezpłatny.
– Czwartek będzie całkowicie poświęcony tematom gdyńskim – zachęca do udziału wiceprezydent Gdyni Marek Stępa.
Wydarzenie potrwa trzy dni – z czego dwa pierwsze są otwarte dla publiczności. Gdynia jest unikalnym, miejskim zespołem zabudowy modernistycznej ze śródmieściem uznanym za Pomnik Historii. Na konferencji zostanie potwierdzone jej członkostwo w międzynarodowej organizacji wspierającej badania naukowe i dokumentację modernizmu w architekturze. – Taka dokumentacja powstaje także w wyniku tych cyklicznych spotkań – mówi Robert Hirsch miejski konserwator zabytków w Gdyni.
Konferencja „Modernizm w Europie – Modernizm w Gdyni” rozpocznie się w czwartek o 10:00 – w Pomorskim Parku Naukowo – Technologicznym Gdynia.
