Koncert projektu „Leszek Kułakowski – Love Songs” w Lęborku | 21.10
Lęborskie Centrum Kultury „Fregata” zaprasza na koncert w ramach XXIV Komeda Jazz Festiwal. W niedzielę, 21 października 2018 roku, na scenie w Kinie Fregata zostanie zaprezentowany projekt „Leszek Kułakowski – Love Songs”.
Razem z zespołem profesora Leszka Kułkowskiego zaśpiewa Joanna Knitter. Początek koncertu o godzinie 18:00. Większość utworów w trakcie koncertu będą stanowić kompozycje Leszka Kułakowskiego, do których teksty napisał znakomity krakowski tekściarz, autor wielu polskich przebojów – Zbigniew Książek. Piosenki stylistycznie oscylują pomiędzy bluesowo-jazzową i funkową stylistyką, ale niektóre brzmią niemal popowo.
Leszek Kułakowski – kompozytor, pianista jazzowy, nazywany przez krytykę „wizjonerem jazzu”, teoretyk muzyki, pedagog, profesor zwyczajny klasy kompozycji i twórca akademickiego jazzu w gdańskiej Akademii Muzycznej. Kułakowski to artysta o ogromnej wyobraźni muzycznej, kreatywnie eksperymentował ze swoją muzyką, także inspirując się Chopinem, folklorem kaszubskim, Trzecim Nurtem, projektam komedowskimi z yassowcami i aranżacjami Komedy na orkiestrę symfoniczną dla Tomasza Stańki. Laureat płyty roku „Eurofonia” w ankiecie Jazz Forum w 2000r. W dorobku kilkanaście aurorskich płyt CD.
Joanna Knitter – wokalistka działająca czynnie w kilku stylistykach muzycznych, wykładowca Akademii Muzycznej w Gdańsku. Koncertowała na największych festiwalach muzycznych w Polsce i na świecie. Wyróżniona przez Billy’ego Harpera na szczecińskich Zmaganiach Jazzowych. Według czytelników pisma Twój Blues – druga wokalistka bluesowa w Polsce w roku 2014. Wydała, pod różnymi szyldami, 11 albumów, w tym 5 z własnymi tekstami i kompozycjami. Na co dzień związana ze swoim zespołem Joanna Knitter Blues & Folk Connection oraz z Take It Easy Przemka Dyakowskiego. Stale współpracuje z Big Bandem Jana Konopa oraz z Leszkiem Kułakowskim. Od kilku lat związana także z Polską Filharmonią Kameralną Sopot, z którą nagrała 2 płyty.
