Komisje Rady Miasta zajmują się dwujęzycznymi tablicami
Trwają procedury mające doprowadzić do uchwalenia na terenie gminy Władysławowo dwujęzycznych, polsko-kaszubskich nazw miejscowości. Po konsultacjach społecznych, w których wypowiedziało się blisko 600 mieszkańców gminy, sprawą zajęły się Komisje Rady Miasta.
Tymczasem na ręce Przewodniczącego Stefana Kleiny wpłynęło pismo w sprawie zachowania północnej, tzw. bylackiej, odmiany języka kaszubskiego w nazwach miejscowości na terenie Gminy Miasta Władysławowo. Jego nadawcami są Ewa Kowancka – samorządowiec i nauczycielka języka kaszubskiego oraz pisarz i dziennikarz Artur Jabłoński. – Język kaszubski jest wielkim dziedzictwem Kaszubów – napisali oni. – Rozumiemy ideę jego normalizacji, o którą dba między innymi Rada Języka Kaszubskiego, ale jednocześnie jesteśmy gorącymi zwolennikami zachowania w nazwach miejscowości cech naszego północnego dialektu kaszubszczyzny.
Jedną z najważniejszych jest tu oczywiści używanie litery „L” w miejscu, gdzie na pozostałym obszarze Kaszub używa się „Ł”. – argumentują Kownacka i Jabłoński. Apelują oni jednocześnie do całej Rady Miasta Władysławowo, by uszanowała głosy mieszkańców i uchwaliła nazwy miejscowości zgodnie z regułami języka Północnych Kaszubów.
