Komisja zdrowia za połączeniem WCO z Copernicusem
Zielone światło dla planu połączenia Wojewódzkiego Centrum Onkologii z gdańskim Copernicusem. Pozytywnie zaopiniowała go komisja zdrowia sejmiku województwa pomorskiego.
– To nie likwidacja a zmiana struktury organizacyjnej, której nie powinni się bać ani pracownicy ani pacjenci – wyjaśnia pomorski marszałek Mieczysław Struk.
Zarząd województwa chce, by jedna spółka zarządzała szpitalami: im. Mikołaja Kopernika, św. Wojciecha na Zaspie oraz WCO w Gdańsku – co ma pozwolić na wykorzystanie potencjału szpitali wojewódzkich dla celów leczenia onkologicznego. Włączenie WCO do spółki Copernicus PL ma usprawnić przepływ pacjentów, również między szpitalami podlegającymi marszałkowi województwa, wzmocnić oba podmioty w przyszłych postępowaniach konkursowych NFZ i bardziej efektywnie wykorzystać zasoby – kadry, sprzętu i aparatury medycznej.
Planom połączenia spółek COPERNICUS Podmiot Leczniczy oraz Wojewódzkiego Centrum Onkologii w Gdańsku sprzeciwia się gdańska NSZZ Solidarność. Decyzję w tej sprawie podejmą radni sejmiku województwa pomorskiego.
