Kolejowe zmiany od początku września
Od poniedziałku z Redy na Hel znów pojedziemy autobusem zamiast pociągiem, przesiadki czekają też podróżnych na trasie z Gdyni do Kościerzyny. Zmiany są związane z modernizacją korytarza torowego, potrwają co najmniej do listopada.
Przypomnijmy, że na całym odcinku z Redy do Helu zostanie wymieniona podsypka pod tory, na trasie jest dokładnie 100 przejazdów kolejowych i one doczekają się nowej nawierzchni, dodatkowo na niektórych zostaną zamontowane elektroniczne systemy ostrzegania, co ma poprawić bezpieczeństwo na drogach. Zmienią się też układy torowe stacji, czyli rozjazdy między innymi w Mrzezinie czy Władysławowie. A co najważniejsze dla podróżnych – dodaje Lewiński – każdy peron zostanie odnowiony, będą to perony wysokie ułatwiające wjazd do szynobusów, pojawią się też nowe wiaty i ławki. Prace w obu kolejowych korytarzach – helskim i kościerskim – zostały zawieszone przed sezonem letnim. Remonty miały zakończyć się w listopadzie – ale gwarancji na to dać nie mogę – mówi wicedyrektor PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe, Leszek Lewiński
Od poniedziałku pasażerowie jadący z Gdyni do Helu będą się przesiadać w Redzie do autobusów zastępczych. Zmiany w rozkładach jazdy czekają też pasażerów jadących z Gdyni do Chojnic i Kościerzyny. Zastępcze autobusy podstawione będą w Somoninie i kursować będą do Kościerzyny, na tym odcinku wymienione zostaną tory. Z Kościerzyny także autobusem pojedziemy do Chojnic – gdzie wznowiony zostanie remont kolejowego wiaduktu.
Zmiany w rozkładach na trasach Reda-Hel, Somonino-Kościerzyna i Kościerzyna – Chojnice obowiązują od 2 września.
