Kolejne zwolnienia podatkowe dla miejskiej spółki KOS-EKO
O kolejnych zwolnieniach podatkowych dla miejskiej spółki KOS-EKO zdecydowali radni Kościerzyny. Ulgi mają poprawić trudną sytuację finansową firmy.
– Do 2020 roku firma KOS-EKO chce zwolnić tempo inwestycyjne i co roku oszczędzać około 2 mln złotych – mimo to w mieście nie da się uniknąć kolejnych podwyżek dla mieszkańców – mówi burmistrz Michał Majewski.
KOS-EKO odpowiada za dostarczanie mieszkańcom Kościerzyny wody, ciepła i odprowadzanie ścieków. W zeszłym roku okazało się, że zadłużenie spółki sięga już około 13-u mln złotych. Decyzją radnych miejskie przedsiębiorstwo zwolniono z podatku od budowli, co rocznie daje około 700 tysięcy złotych oszczędności. Na wczorajszej sesji ulgi przedłużono o kolejne pół roku. – To znacznie poprawi sytuację spółki – przyznaje jej prezes Robert Fening. Jak dodaje, w zeszłym roku firma poniosła spore koszty inwestycji ekologicznych. Tematem miejskiej oczyszczalni w Kościerzynie radni mają zająć się na kolejnej sesji rady miasta. Stawki za odbiór ścieków mają wzrosnąć o około 50 groszy.
