Kociewski regionalista Kazimierz Ickiewicz z Medalem Stolema
Kociewski regionalista Kazimierz Ickiewicz został tegorocznym laureatem Medalu Stolema. Wyróżnienie po raz 49 zostało przyznane przez, działający przy Zrzeszeniu Kaszubsko – Pomorskim, Klub Studencki „Pomorania”.
– Dla nas Kazimierz Ickiewicz jest łącznikiem między Kaszubami i Kociewiakami – mówi Paulina Węsierska z Klubu Pomorania.
Kazimierz Ickiewicz jest samorządowcem, nauczycielem oraz działacze społecznym na Kociewiu. Dużą część swojej pracy naukowej poświęcił Kaszubom, badając losy ich emigracji do Kanady. Jest też aktywnym działaczem ZKP w Tczewie oraz popularyzatorem historii lokalnej. Uroczystość wręczenia Medalu Stolema dla Kazimierza Ickiewicza odbędzie się 13 grudnia w Ratuszu Staromiejskim w Gdańsku.
