KASZUBY: Demokratyczne wybory do samorządów uczniowskich
Ponad 500 szkół w Polsce i kilkanaście na Pomorzu zorganizuje demokratyczne wybory do samorządów uczniowskich.
To akcja zapoczątkowana rzez Centrum Edukacji Obywatelskiej w Warszawie. 30 września w każdej z zapisanych placówek młodzież na podobieństwo wyborów samorządowych wybierze samorząd uczniowski. Na Pomorzu będą to między innymi Bytów, Debrzno, Gdańsk, Podjazy, Przywidz czy Somonino. Chociaż same wybory odbywają się w większości szkół to ich jakość jest bardzo różna – często nie są prowadzone zgodnie z demokratycznymi procedurami, sam udział w głosowaniu, jak i kandydowanie cieszą się małym zainteresowaniem uczniów – mówi Michał Tragarz, koordynator projektu. Według badań Prawie połowa uczniów szkół średnich nigdy nie brała udziału w wyborach do samorządu uczniowskiego. Większość uczniów ocenia funkcjonowanie samorządu negatywnie, a co szósty-siódmy uczeń w ogóle nie wie o jego istnieniu w swojej szkole.
