Kaszubska Włóczęga jest turystyczną dzienną Imprezą na Orientację (InO), podczas której uczestnicy mają za zadanie potwierdzić w określonym limicie czasu swoją obecność przy ustawionych w terenie punktach kontrolnych lub wykonać inne zadania. Impreza odbywa się zgodnie z regulaminem dostępnym na stronie internetowej imprezy.
Motywem przewodnim tegorocznej Kaszubskiej Włóczęgi będzie „Szczęście a Pech: przesądy, gusła, zbiegi okoliczności”
Impreza odbędzie się w sobotę 19 maja 2018 roku, bez względu na warunki pogodowe. Impreza ma charakter dzienny.
Uczestnicy mogą startować na jednej z trzynastu tras, które mają różny poziom trudności. Między innymi będzie trasa rowerowa, nurkowa, kajakowa. Na trasie będzie można spotkać Mùmôcza. Będzie nawiązanie do Mòrzkùlc i Bòrowô Cotka – postaci z legend i kultury kaszubskiej.
Bòrowô Cotka – dobrego ducha borów i lasów, dający rodzicom upominki dla dzieci i chroniący je. Przybiera postać staruszki
Mùmôcz – to zły duch wodny, sprawca topielców. Mieszka i działa w jeziorach, rzekach, błotach i stawach. Wygląda jak wielka żaba, ma zielonkawe ślepia, ogromny łeb, szeroki pysk i obwisłe, grube wargi. Piersi ma opadnięte jak stara czarownica.
