Kaszubska Truskawka jedzie na Euro 2016 do Francji
15 tysięcy porcji tych owoców rozda Kaszubskie Stowarzyszenie Producentów Truskawek.
– Chcemy promować nasz produkt regionalny oraz zachęcić zagranicznych turystów do przyjazdu na Kaszuby – mówi Edyta Klasa, wiceprezes Stowarzyszenia.
Degustacja odbędzie się podczas wieczoru Polskiego 16 czerwca, podczas meczu Polska – Niemcy oraz w weekend 18 – 19 czerwca. Kaszebści malenie skosztują kibice w centrum Paryża nad Sekwaną, na Placu Concorde, Placu Inwalidów oraz w Ambasadzie RP. To nie pierwsza tego typu akcja, dwa lata temu członkowie Stowarzyszenia promowali truskawkę w Brukseli, a w roku ubiegłym na Expo 2015 w Mediolanie.
1500 kg truskawek przekażą producenci z okolic Chmielna. Do Paryża pojedzie najsmaczniejsza odmiana – deserowa. Jednym z plantatorów, który przekaże truskawki, jest Zygmunt Jażdżewski z Łączyńskiej Huty. Partnerem akcji jest Ministerstwo Rolnictwa i Rozwoju Wsi.
