Kaszubska oferta edukacyjna poszerzyła się o trzy nowe publikacje. W Żukowie miała miejsce promocja podręczników do nauki języka kaszubskiego oraz własnej historii i kultury. Dwa z nich dedykowane są uczniom i mówiliśmy już o nich na naszej antenie.
– To pierwszy podręcznik dla nauczycieli, traktujący o historii Kaszub, znajdziemy tam przede wszystkim wskazówki jak prowadzić lekcje, mówi współautor Michał Kargul.
Trzecia książka to poradnik dla nauczycieli uczących historii i kultury. To właśnie ta pozycja, poradnik dla nauczycieli „Kaszuby przez wieki” autorstwa Michała Kargula i Krzysztofa Kordy wywołała największe poruszenie. Nowy poradnik zostały z optymizmem przyjęte przez nauczycieli, bo jak mówią oprócz nauki języka, ważne jest też kształtowanie kaszubskiej świadomości. Właśnie wprowadzenie do szkół przedmiotu własna historia i kultura dało Kaszubom nowe możliwości kształtowania własnej, etnicznej świadomości. Jednak w przypadku poradnika „Kaszuby przez wieki” sami autorzy przyznają we wstępie, że stworzyli poradnik do historii regionalnej, a poszczególne tematy lekcji mają wprowadzać treści regionalne. Przyjmując taki punkt widzenia historia Kaszubów może być jedynie częścią historii ogólnopolskiej, nie zaś czymś oddzielnym. To jest podstawowy zarzut stawiany pracy „Kaszuby przez wieki” autorstwa Michała Kargula i Krzysztofa Kordy. Środowiska kaszubskie będą o tym dyskutowały na spotkaniu w Gdyni 9 lutego o 17.00 w Ośrodku Kultury Kaszubsko-Pomorskiej przy Piłsudskiego 18.
