Kaszubi przechowali dla Polski wybrzeże Bałtyku – powiedział w Pucku prezydent Duda
Biało-czerwone i kaszubskie, czarno-złote flagi załopotały na puckim rynku i w porcie rybackim. Kończą się już obchody 96 rocznicy Zaślubin Polski z Morzem.
Na tej jednej z najważniejszych dla Kaszubów uroczystości pojawił się prezydent Andrzej Duda, który przemówił do zebranych w porcie opodal pomnika generała Józefa Hallera. Polska po I Wojnie Światowej uzyskała granicę na Bałtyku właśnie 10 lutego w Pucku. Było to możliwe – co dziś potwierdził prezydent Duda – dzięki postawie Kaszubów, którzy wiązali duże nadzieje dla rozwoju własnej kultury w państwie polskim, gdzie dominował żywioł słowiański. 96 rocznicę zaślubin celebrowano w już od kilku dni. Odbyły się dwie sesje popularnonaukowe, na których zaprezentowano między innymi kolejny numer rocznika „Zapiski Puckie”, w którym Mirosław Kuklik, dyrektor Muzeum Ziemi Puckiej im. Floriana Ceynowy pisze, jak oczekiwania mieszkańców Nordy zderzyły się z polską rzeczywistością.
