KARTUZY: Kaszëbë Music Festiwal
Słynna folkowa Kapela ze Wsi Warszawa wystąpiła na finał Kaszëbë Music Festiwal w Kartuzach. Przy etnicznych brzmieniach bawiono się tam w sobotę, imprezę zorganizowało Stowarzyszenie Kulturalno-Artystyczne „Perspektywa” by przedstawić nową jakość w kaszubskiej muzyce.
Gwiazdą wieczoru była Kapela ze Wsi Warszawa, trzykrotni laureaci Fryderyków za płyty etno, nagrodzeni też między innymi przez brytyjskie radio BBC. Przed ich występem publiczność rozgrzały młode formacje z Kaszub, których zwykle nie można posłuchać na sztandarowych gminnych imprezach czy festynach, min. Rod, Laboratorium Pieśni, Damroka czy Young and Zgreds. Publiczność do północy bawiła się przy rock’n rollu, bluesie, hip-hopie oraz muzyce etnicznej. „Marzy mi się, by nasz festiwal stał się takim kaszubskim Woodstockiem” mówi koordynator festiwalu Jakub Malinowski.
