Kartuscy leśnicy pomogą dzieciom chorym na białaczkę
Kartuscy leśnicy po raz kolejny chcą pomóc dzieciom chorym na białaczkę – ale z kajaków przesiądą się na rowery.
W ubiegłym roku leśnicy przepłynęli Wisłą trasę z Warszawy do Gdańska. Wtedy udało się zebrać 17 tysięcy, za które kupiono m. in. kardiomonitor. W tym roku w charytatywną wyprawę wybiorą się lądem. Organizują rowerowy rajd pod hasłem „Dorwij blasta’”, będą zbierać środki na zakup pompy infuzyjnej dla małych podopiecznych Kliniki Pediatrii, Hematologii i Onkologii gdańskiego UCK. Organizatorem akcji jest Wojciech Kiełpikowski, który 6 lat temu sam wygrał walkę z białaczką.
„Blast” to potoczna nazwa komórek, które pojawiają się we krwi chorych na białaczkę. Uczestnicy rowerowego rajdu „Dorwij blasta” wyruszą 8 maja z Mirachowa do Gdańska. Tego dnia Nadleśnictwo Kartuzy zaprasza też chętnych na majowy spacer po lesie. Będzie to także okazja finansowego wsparcia akcji. Zbiórka jest już prowadzona w internecie za pośrednictwem strony internetowej www.siepomaga.pl.
