Już 80 przypadków boreliozy w powiecie kościerskim
Pięciokrotny wzrost zachorowań na boreliozę odnotowano w ostatnich latach w powiecie kościerskim. Tylko w tym roku zarejestrowano aż 80 przypadków tej groźnej choroby.
– Najważniejsze, abyśmy w takich przypadkach wykonali odpowiednie badania – mówi szefowa kościerskiego sanepidu Grażyna Greinke.
Wywołują ją wirusy przenoszone przez kleszcze. Specjaliści ostrzegają, że gdy po ugryzieniu na ciele pojawi się charakterystyczny rumień, a oprócz niego czasem objawy grypopodobne, może to oznaczać, że dana osoba zachorowała na boreliozę. Badania w kierunku boreliozy wykonać można w przychodniach zdrowia. Chorobę leczy się głównie antybiotykami.
