Jest zgoda na budowę Trasy Kaszubskiej
Jest zgoda na budowę Trasy Kaszubskiej łączącej obwodnicę Trójmiasta z Lęborkiem. Po kilkuletnich negocjacjach decyzję środowiskową wydała Regionalna Dyrekcja Ochrony Środowiska. To jedna z najdroższych i jednocześnie najbardziej potrzebnych dróg na Pomorzu. Budowa 61 km drogi ekspresowej będzie kosztowała 4 i pół miliarda złotych. Połączy trójmiejską obwodnicę z Lęborkiem i drogami do Słupska, Szczecina i Berlina. Droga ma przechodzić przez bardzo atrakcyjne przyrodniczo tereny. Stąd negocjacje inwestora z Regionalną Dyrekcją Ochrony Środowiska trwały od 2011 roku. Ostatecznie wybrano wariant południowy tańszy o ok. 150 mln zł i lepiej skomunikowany z miastami, ale też nieznacznie – bo o 1 procent gorszy dla środowiska naturalnego. Na trasie powstanie osiem dużych przejść dla zwierząt i setka przepustów dla mniejszych płazów. Wzdłuż drogi umieszczone zostanie prawdopodobnie ponad setka ekranów akustycznych. To kompromisowe rozwiązanie – podkreśla rzecznik Regionalnej Dyrekcji Ochrony Środowiska w Gdańsku Sławomir Sowula. Powstanie trasy zakłada wyburzenie ponad setki zabudowań. Same prace budowlane mają potrwać 2 i pół roku. Trasą kaszubską pojedziemy w 2020 roku.
