Jest szansa na budowę nowej siedziby Powiatowej Komendy Policji
Jest duża szansa na budowę nowej siedziby Powiatowej Komendy Policji w Kościerzynie – taką informację podczas tamtejszych obchodów święta policji przekazał dziś Komendant Wojewódzki Wojciech Sobczak. Kościerska komenda na razie wpisana została na listę rezerwową inwestycji na lata 2016-2020.
– Podobnie było w Kościerzynie, choć policjantów najbardziej ucieszyła informacja o budowie nowej siedziby – mówi komendant powiatowy Andrzej Czaja.
Policjanci w Kościerzynie już dzisiaj obchodzili święto, które w kalendarzu przypada 24 lipca. Jest ono obchodzone na pamiątkę powołania Policji Państwowej w 1919 roku i zwykle jest okazją do wręczenia odznaczeń i wyróżnień państwowych, a także podziękowań. O potrzebie budowy nowej siedziby policji w Kościerzynie mówi się od wielu lat. Pierwszy krok już zrobiło miasto i przekazało na ten cel wartą prawie milion złotych hektarową działkę przy ulicy Leśnej – niedaleko planowanej obwodnicy miasta.
