Jest nowe połączenie drogowe między Redą i Rumią
W Redzie i Rumi finisz długo wyczekiwanej inwestycji – nowego połączenia drogowego między tymi miastami. Ulicą Morską pojedziemy już latem.
Powstający układ drogowy obejmuje odcinek od ulicy Kosynierów w Rumi z włączeniem do istniejącego ronda przy Obwodowej w Redzie. Połączy on oba miasta odciążając zatłoczoną krajową „6”.
– Na tę inwestycję czekaliśmy siedem lat, odkąd przekazać fundusze na ten cel zobowiązało się centrum handlowe w Rumi – mówi burmistrz Redy Krzysztof Krzemiński.
Najpoważniejszym zadaniem była wymiana torfowego gruntu i budowa kanalizacji odwadniającej. Wybudowano m.in. nową przepompownię i zmodernizowano kolektor wód deszczowych. – Projekt został skonstruowany tak, że nie narusza środowiska naturalnego – podkreśla burmistrz Krzemiński. W ramach inwestycji powstaną również chodniki i ścieżki rowerowe. Budowa ulicy Morskiej kosztowała około 7 milionów złotych, z czego Reda przekazała 1 milion. Planowany czas zakończenia robót to koniec czerwca.
