Jest konkurs na projekt i lokalizację pomnika Aleksandra Majkowskiego
Władze Kościerzyny ogłosiły w końcu konkurs na projekt i lokalizację pomnika Aleksandra Majkowskiego. Zapowiadany od ponad roku monument ma stanąć w mieście w 2018 roku z okazji 80 rocznicy śmierci pisarza.
– Już wszystkie niejasności zostały rozwiązane – mówi dzisiaj burmistrz miasta, Michał Majewski.
O opóźnieniach przy budowie pomnika informowaliśmy 3 tygodnie temu. Problem pojawił się w przepływie informacji między komisją konkursową a Urzędem Miasta, a dotyczył lokalizacji pomnika. Pomnik ma stanąć w parku przy skrzyżowaniu ulic Wojska Polskiego i Szopińskiego albo na skwerku przy ulicy Długiej. Władze miasta na jego budowę chcą zarezerwować w przyszłorocznym budżecie 150 tysięcy złotych.
