Jest decyzja w sprawie budowy siedziby dla straży pożarnej w Rumi
Nowa strażnica dla Jednostki Ratowniczo-Gaśniczej w Rumi powstanie u zbiegu ulic Reja i Fredry. W wejherowskim starostwie podpisano porozumienie w sprawie zamiany nieruchomości.
– W ramach przedsięwzięcia powstać ma nowoczesny budynek o powierzchni użytkowej około 1800 metrów kwadratowych, mówi wiceburmistrz Rumi Piotr Wittbrodt.
Umowa stanowi kolejny krok w kierunku rozpoczęcia tej inwestycji. Pierwszym etapem było podpisanie trójstronnego listu intencyjnego w 2017 roku. Jednostka Straży Pożarnej w Rumi mieści się w budynku postawionym na początku XX wieku, który na potrzeby strażaków został zaadaptowany w 1978 roku. W służbie są trzy zmiany strażaków liczące sobie 10-11 osób i cztery wozy. Budowa ma się zakończyć najpóźniej w 2024 r. Szacowany koszt inwestycji to około 9 milionów złotych. Ma ona zostać sfinansowana z budżetu państwa.
